Free and Cheap NYC Events, Friday May 29th, 2020, Coronavirus Edition

  • Editor’s Note: Well NYC, we’ve survived another week under the pandemic, and it seems that there is light @ the end of the tunnel, with the city poised to start reopening the first or second week of June. The Cheap Chick recently came across The Serenity Prayer on a TV show and it really struck a chord with her during this time of crisis. One of the more familiar versions of the prayer goes, “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”* The Cheap Chick thinks that we will all need to take these words to heart as we navigate the new world that will emerge from the ashes of Covid and other diseases afflicting our nation.

Here’s a link to last week’s post, which has been updated since last Friday, the one from two weeks ago, as well as 28 days ago, and my original ongoing Coronavirus coverage. Still lots of great online diversions!
